Prices are in US dollars. The checkout shows the total, including any tax, before you pay.

• One photograph, one scanA scan is one look at one photograph, and it produces all nine fields at once — the place it was taken, and the title, caption, extended description and alt text. There is no cheaper tier that writes fewer of them.
• Scans do not expireBuy them once and they sit on your account until you use them. There is no subscription, no monthly minimum, and nothing to cancel — the price is set so that it does not need one.
• One balance, both ways of workingThe Lightroom plug-in and the browser client draw on the same account and the same scans. Nothing is bought twice for using both.
• A scan that finds little still costs oneThis is the one that is worth reading before you buy. A scan spends its credit when the work is done, not when the answer is good — so a photograph at a coordinate with nothing around it comes back with an honest gap rather than a guess, and it has still cost a scan. What it will never do is invent something to look like better value. A photograph with no coordinate at all is refused before anything is spent — unless you ask for it: there is a setting, off by default, that reads such a photograph for its words alone. It spends a scan and fills no place fields, because nothing can say where it was taken.
• Generating a combined narrative of multiple images is freeWriting one continuous account of a whole set costs nothing: it is composed from words the scans have already produced, so no photograph is looked at twice and nothing is charged for it.
